on black saturday, i went to the beach, not to swim but to
shoot; not to swim, but to sit still; not to swim, but to lay back; not to
swim, but to wonder.
the beach is one of my favorite places on earth
and this is
my attempt to capture its beauty, its splendor, and what it stood for.
this is
my attempt to capture how that day had been--God in everywhere, alive,
even if in the whole of Christendom, God is yet to rise on the next
day;God in everywhere, alive, even in
the smallest of things.

one good afternoon
|
one of my favorite places in the world: the beach, the sea,
and one of my favorite times of the day: late afternoon.
 |
on the dock
|
on the dock on a late, late afternoon and the waters are
starting to get rough.
 |
looking out
|
i envy this coconut tree who gets to see the beach each and
everyday. i wonder how is life like for this one handiwork of God who gets to
witness each day the ebbing of the tides, the beautiful sunsets, the moods of
the sea, and the lives of the rocks on the shore.
what does a crab say to it as it walks past? how does it
protect oneself from the storms? how does it speak and let the world know of its
presence?
musings, musings on a stone.

going home
|
just an image that reminds me of going home.

fishermen out on the sea to fish on black saturday. breathe,
think, watch the world go by, ruby.

hand over water
|
a photo taken by keith—my hand over the water. i don’t know
what this image stood for but i love how this came out.
 |
| what are we here for? |
to me, these talisay leaves and flowers look questioning, wondering, and
probing about their existence just like the rest of us.

the table, without this bench would never be complete, and
though beaten and old, the two are still living out its purpose.

| shhh... |
goals of the day: relaxation, sleep, bumming around. h’wag
